Nicole Richie filled in for Ellen K.‘s as Ryan‘s co-host on Monday morning and not only was she so much fun and a total joy to have in the studio, but she also dropped some knowledge on us all while she was here.
The 32-year-old mother of two introduced Ryan to the phrase “Bye Felicia,” which first originated in the 1995 film, Friday, but recently became popular as a dismissal to irrelevant nobodies.
“I thought I was the last one to know,” she said when Ryan thought Nicole was talking about “Felicia from Riverside.”
But Ryan also taught Nicole a similar saying … giving someone “The Heisman” (a reference to the college football trophy that looks like it’s giving “the hand”).
Nicole’s show Candidly Nicole airs on VH1 on Thursday at 10/9c.
