3 Years After Las Vegas Harvest Festival Shooting- Victims Get Compensated

More than 4000 victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017, will receive a portion of $800 million from a class action settlement.

The MGM Corporation who owns Mandalay Bay, the hotel where the shooter was located, will pay $429 million from their corporate funds. The rest will be paid by the company's liability insurance.

58 people died in the attack and thousands of others were injured when 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire on the crowd attending the country music festival. Paddock was found dead in a hotel room from self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

I can't believe it's been 3 years... it still haunts me to this day. Prayers for the survivors and the families and friends of those who died so senselessly.
