While dogs and cats are loving and adorable, there’s one thing future pet owners need to realize – they don’t come cheap. A new survey finds pet owners spend an average of $111 a month on their furbabies. That translates to $13,320 over 10 years, which is the average lifespan of most dogs and cats. And without insurance, vet visits are usually more expensive than our own doctor’s visits. Insurance sounds great, but the premium for my 4 dogs might be a tad too much. LOL!
