Taylor Swift narrated a new promo for the Tokyo Olympics yesterday, in support of Simone Biles. In the promo, Taylor asks, “What do we want from our heroes?" as her song, “This Is Me Trying” plays in the background. Taylor goes on to support Simone’s withdrawing from previous events citing her mental health. Simone was touched by Taylor’s words and took to Twitter to thank her, Swift responded writing, "I cried watching YOU. I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you. Thank you."
