Well, that didn’t take long. After just one season as an NFL analyst, it looks like Drew Brees has been fired by NBC. He was doing the Football Night in America studio show. He was also a game analyst. From all accounts, he’s a nice guy -- which might be why he rarely said anything interesting or insightful. So unless something changes, Brees will have more time to spend with his family this football season. Something to consider ... Brees flamed out quickly. Considering Tom Brady just signed an epic deal to be an analyst on FOX next year, the networks executives have to be wondering if Brady has what it takes to NOT flame out.
