In January- Jay Barker went to Nashville where his estranged wife Sara Evans was living and when she came back in the early morning hours in another person's car, she claimed Jay Barker tried to run her over. He missed. He said there was two sides to the story and to not believe everything you read. He was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault.
Barker has been found guilty of a lesser charge, reckless endangerment, which is a misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days of probation.
