Here's Adam Lambert's Sneaky Cameo In Queen's Biopic 'Bohemian Rhapsody'

Queen's newly-released, Bohemian Rhapsody, features a number of actors portraying the prolific folks involved in their rise to fame, and one of the group's recent addition to their entourage, Adam Lambert, made sure to sneak a cameo into the film, too.

Despite the American Idol champ's "very, very mysterious" tease on the film's red carpet premiere in New York City, Lambert's appearance had folks buzzing on Twitter after one user put two and two together. It's a blink-or-you'll-miss-it moment, where Freddie Mercury (played by Rami Malek) makes a phone call to his then-fiance Mary Austin (played by Lucy Boynton) at a truck stop while on tour in the United States and spots a curious man eying him as he walks into the public bathroom. Twitter user @TheRealDuckBert spotted the cameo and took to the platform to share his observation. "OHHH @adamlambert you cheeky man! Only YOU, one of the most handsome men in the world, would choose to make your big screen cameo debut as a burly gay trucker!" he tweeted. "Even if it's only seconds long and you have no lines it's PRICELESS!"

Lambert has enjoyed plenty of time with the rest of Queen on tour, but he did previously tell Digital Spy the other kind of role that he would have wanted in the biopic. "I'd want to be in bed with Freddie," he said in 2016. "I think that would be appropriate at this point! I donโ€™t usually say things on the record, but that's the part I want. I want to be one of his lovers."

Bohemian Rhapsody has earned the second-biggest start of all time for a music biopic after 2015's Straight Outta Compton. It took in $122.5 million globally on budget of just $52 million.
