Travis Scott Drops $1.6 Million For A Rare G-Wagon

Travis Scott's got money to blow!

On Sunday (September 15), the "SICKO MODE" rapper shared photos of his new Maybach-outfitted Mercedes Benz G-Wagon to Instagram. Days later, TMZ confirmed that Travis dropped a whopping $1.6 million on the custom vehicle, which is one of only 99 ever made in the world.

According to the outlet, the 28-year-old rapper bought the 2018 Maybach G650 Landaulet, which was originally white, through Specialty Car Collection in Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago, after the company purchased the ride from well-known car collector Obi Okeke, a.k.a. "Doctor Bugatti." Trav then had it loaded and custom wrapped in brown in Austin before shipping it to his hometown of Houston. As shown in the Instagram photos Trav posted of the whip, the car's interior is also brown and includes a mini-fridge! Talk about getting your money's worth.

News of Travis' $1.6 million ride comes weeks after the release of his Netflix documentary titled Look Mom I Can Fly. As fans know, the ASTROWORLD rapper surprised fans by announcing the film on social media late last month. "GOT SOMETHING U MIGHT WANNA SEE IT," he captioned a series of photos showing VHS tapes of the upcoming film. Travis then invited fans to a pop-up event at Houston's Movie Exchange.

The documentary showed "NEVER BEFORE SEEN FOOTAGE INCLUDING THE MAKING OF 'ASTROWORD' THE ALBUM - EARLY FATHERHOOD - THE FOUND OF CACTUS JACK THE LABE - EXCLUSIVE TOUR FOOTAGE & MUCH MORE," according to the synopsis.

It additionally aired never before seen footage of Travis and Kylie Jenner's daughter Stormi Webster's birth. The scene, which was shared on Kylie's Instagram Story, gave fans a first look at a then-pregnant Kylie in a hospital bed, holding Travis' hand as they prepared to welcome their first child. It also showed the moment Kylie got to hold Stormi, who was swaddled in a hospital blanket, for the first time.
