Ok...crazy weekend! Saturday was FREEZING cold! We've been a part of the Polar Plunge at Oak Mountain State Park for the past few years. I'm constantly in awe of how awesome the folks at Special Olympics are and the Torch Run of Alabama do incredible work to support them. Between emceeing the event I got to jump into 19 degree water with the Mayor and Pelham PD. Drone video from Alabama Aeriel Photography.
Sunday was the big day...my Minnesota Vikings were hosting the Saints for a chance to go to the NFC Championship game. Usually the Vikings find a way to let me down but somehow THEY TOTALLY REDEEMED THEMSELVES!!! Video was taken as they won with :00 left...and we were at some friends' house. They're Saints' fans :)
MLK Day we took the kids to Montevallo because some friends of ours were giving puppies away. Seems fun, right? Play with puppies then go home. Somehow the kids convinced me (still not sure how they did that) to take "Colt" home. He is really adorable.
