The national anthem is an incredibly difficult song to perform, so it's no surprise that artists mess it up from time to time. Lady Antebellum is no exception. On Saturday night, the trio took to the ice in Nashville's Bridgestone Arena to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the Predators kicked off game five of their Stanley Cup Playoffs series against the Winnipeg Jets.Nerves managed to get the best of Charles Kelley, who accidentally skipped a line in the song, but the trio quickly jumped back on track to finish the performance in perfect harmony.
Just minutes after the flub, Lady A took to social media to laugh at themselves and apologize for the mistake. Charles took to Twitter to apologize, as well, writing, "Sang the anthem a thousand times, sorry for messing up one of the lines. Prob won’t sleep tonight now."
