A Louisiana man is missing after he was attacked by an alligator Monday in flood waters in Louisiana in the wake of Hurricane Ida.
The man's wife saw the attack happen near the city of Sidell, according to Jason Gaubert, a spokesman for the St. Tammany Fire District Number One. The gator took the man's arm off during the initial attack and his wife went to call for help. After she returned, the man had vanished in the flood waters. The man's body has yet to be recovered.
