Ariana Grande is clarifying comments about her appearance after jokingly thanking injectables and Botox while accepting an award.
The Wicked star was presented with the rising star award at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Friday (January 3) and while accepting the honor, she hilariously credited fillers for her youthful appearance, per People. She said at the time, "I never thought at the age of 31 I would be hearing the words 'Rising Star' again, so I want to start by thanking by good friends Botox and Juvederm."
In a new interview snippet shared by Entertainment Tonight, she joked that she's "still clean" after giving up fillers four years ago, adding, "You see the lines? I love them." The Eternal Sunshine musician added that it's important to her to be honest with fans about any cosmetic procedures or enhancements she may undergo, especially given that she launched r.e.m. beauty in 2021, saying, "I really want to be transparent as a beauty founder."
Last year, Grande addressed speculation that she has had any surgeries like a nose job or chin implant, revealing that the only procedure she's had is getting Botox and fillers "in various places" but that she stopped a few years ago. However, she has nothing but "full support" for anyone who chooses to go under the knife. In that same interview, she also revealed which cosmetic procedure she is "open" to getting sometime in the future.
