Any Swiftie knows that Taylor Swift has made many appearances on TV shows and movies, and one of those included a cameo on beloved TV series "New Girl."

In the "New Girl" episode titled "Elaine's Big Day," Swift plays Elaine, who is in love (and runs off with) the man that the show's Cece is supposed to marry on their wedding day. And in a new episode of "New Girl" rewatch podcast "The Mess Around with Hannah and Lamorne," Zooey Deschanel makes a special guest appearance to talk about the episode, including Taylor Swift's appearance.

Deschanel opens up about Taylor's scene, but also getting to hang out with the star on set before filming her scene. Zooey recalled:

"I remember very well. She wasn't on set very long. She just basically came in and did that little scene. But I just wanted to share that she came in, and was in the hair and makeup trailer and they had me ... This is just classic, because when Prince was on, I was also, not babysitting, but they were like, 'Be the host of the set and and go and greet them. And everybody was like, do that with Prince. Go be the hostess and sit and hang out with Prince. And so when Taylor was there, everyone was like, 'Zooey go sit in the makeup trailer with her.' And my makeup artist, Georgie, ended up, [Taylor] was like, 'Oh yeah, I'm totally cool using Zooey's makeup artist.' So Georgie did her makeup and she was like ... first of all, Taylor Swift, if anyone ever says anything mean about her, I'm so mad because she is such a nice person. She is so cool. I've never seen her be anything but absolutely so lovely and down to earth. And she really liked the lipstick that I wore, and it was like Benetint, just the most old fashioned lip tint that's been around forever. And we had that Benetint, you got to get some and you go get some, it'll look good on you. And we had one for her, and I remember Georgie gave it to her and she was like, 'Oh my God, thank you so much.' And I was like, oh, that's cool. Taylor Swift was excited to just get this little thing of Benetint. She was unbelievably nice. So, let's set the record straight that Taylor is awesome, super sweet, she's awesome. And everything that you imagine her to be that you hope she is, she is."
