Eventually, people will run out of the tiny, random minutiae in life to debate on the Internet. But until that day, we've got stuff like THIS. The latest dumb debate on Twitter is . . . do you put water on your toothbrush before you put on the toothpaste, or after?
It seems like the more popular move is water then toothpaste . . . but the people who do it the other way are arguing HARD for their way.
And now, the TWIST. In reality, the correct answer might be "neither."
According to Colgate, we don't really NEED to put water on our toothbrush at all. That's a holdover from the early days of toothpaste, when it was much drier and you needed to mix it with water to use it.
