Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio have signed on to co-star in a Quentin Tarantino movie about Hollywood in the late '60s and the Charles Manson murders.
Tarantino says Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is "a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor...(Manson murder victim) Sharon Tate."
The movie is expected to come out in August, 2019. Both actors have worked with Tarantino before -- Pitt in Inglourious Basterds and DiCaprio in Django Unchained.
