The Black Panther effect … Black Panther has been a huge success at the box office, making a ton of money and dazzling fans and critics alike. And, it seems to be having an unexpected effect on pet adoptions ... with a huge spike in the number of people going out to get themselves a black cat. Normally, shelters have a tough time convincing people to take home black cats. You know… because of the whole bad luck thing. But at least for now, the movie has changed that perception … and people are adopting black cats
