SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't seen "Avengers: Infinity War" yet, I'm sorry, but it's been out for NINE WEEKS now. The world isn't waiting for you to catch up anymore, and it doesn't owe you anything. So buckle up . . .
A lot of characters seem to have died in that movie, but obviously they're not ALL dead. One character who seems to be gone for good, though, is one of the best of them all: Loki. And that comes from TOM HIDDLESTON himself.
He says they told him about Loki's death before they even started making "Thor Ragnarok". The plan was to have Loki redeem himself by the end of that movie, so his death at the beginning of "Infinity War" was that much more powerful.
Quote, "It set the stakes up emotionally. It takes the stakes up dramatically. You know that Thanos is someone who's more dangerous than anyone we've seen before."
