George Clooney was hospitalized following a motorcycle accident. Clooney was commuting Tuesday morning on the Italian island of Sardinia. A car turned in front of his motorbike and hit Clooney. The 57-year-old was rushed by ambulance to the nearest emergency room where he was given an MRI. Tests were negative. A tweet from an Italian news outlet said (quote) “George Clooney at the hospital. His bike ended up against a car that was turning." NBC News reported (quote) “George Clooney has already been discharged following collision between the scooter he was traveling on and a car. Clooney is in Sardinia to direct a TV series called Catch 22.”
