Michael Ketterer, the America's Got Talent finalist who was arrested on domestic violence charges last week in Los Angeles, will have the charges dropped.
Instead, he'll get a hearing with the L.A. City Attorney in which he'll be counseled on domestic violence and warned of consequences for a repeat violation.
Last week, police were called to the hotel room Michael shared with his wife and discovered she had a red mark on her face. Law required that Michael be arrested. The charges were dropped because the injury was minor.
Michael says his wife did not plan to press charges.
Michael's appearance at Garth Brooks's show at Notre Dame on October 20th was canceled.
