Are you enjoying the extra daylight in the evening now that it's Daylight Saving Time? President Trump would like you to have that year-round.
The President tweeted Monday, "Making Daylight Saving Time permanent is O.K. with me!"
Florida has become the first state to adopt permanent Daylight Saving Time, and California looks to be following suit. And last week, Florida's two senators, Marco Rubio and Rick Scott, along with Congressman Vern Buchanan, introduced legislation to make that the law nationwide.
Current law allows states to opt out of Daylight Saving Time. Arizona and Hawaii don't change their clocks.
