Back in 1980, DANNY LLOYD played JACK NICHOLSON's son in"The Shining". Now he's 46 and he's a biology professor at a community college in Kentucky.
And he doesn't really like his students to know about his past, because it can create a distraction in the classroom.
He says, quote, "I try to keep it on the down low. You get students of all different ages. The younger ones are not aware and that's how it should be. But every now and then, a student will say something."
The sequel,"Doctor Sleep", comes out in November, starring EWAN MCGREGOR as the grown-up version of Danny's character.
The trailer was released last week, and Danny says he was surprised to see footage of himself from the original in it. But he's definitely excited for it . . . quote, "I'd like to see it right when it comes out."
