Christian was about to be 9 and wanted a big birthday party... so his mom sent out tons of invitations to all his school friends and hoped for the best. When only one little girl RSVP'ed she was heartbroken but stayed positive. She posted on facebook that they would make it the birthday great regardless but wished people would make time for compassion.
Well someone did... a family friend shared the message with a local high school football coach who invited his players to attend the party and then jumped on the opportunity. Christian has autistm, but didn't even question why all the older boys came to his party- just enjoyed all the new friends!
