PATRICK MAHOMES is a TOUCHDOWN MACHINE, but not everyone thought the Kansas City Chiefs made a good selection when they picked him 10th in the 2017 draft, after Mitch Trubisky and before Deshaun Watson.
Of course, Patrick was the MVP of the NFL in 2018 . . . but even after that, five months ago,TROY AIKMAN didn't want Patrick to be compared to him.
In September, there was a Tweet going around saying, quote, "Mahomes has thrown 36% of Troy Aikman's career touchdowns, in about 8% of the games."
Troy responded, quote, "Talk to me when he has 33% of my Super Bowl titles."
Well, he now does. Troy won three, and now Patrick has one.
Troy hasn't commented on this situation yet . . . but he definitely witnessed it, because he called the game alongside Joe Buck.
