Renee Hellman is an elderly woman who has been unable to fetch groceries during the coronavirus pandemic. Thankfully, the Colorado resident, who lives alone, has someone to fetch them for her: Sunny, a golden retriever who lives next door with his owner, Karen Eveleth. It works like this: Hellman gives a grocery list to Sunny, who brings it back home to Eveleth, who goes to the store and buys the items on the list--then gives them to Sunny to deliver to Hellman. "Little things like Sunny coming over to visit is nice, and it makes you feel good," Hellman tells KKTV. "It's a way of communicating."
