REO Speedwagon frontman Kevin Cronin wasn't sure if he wanted to appear on Season 3 of the Netflix crime dramaOzark, so turned to his 20-something kids for advice. “If I want to see if something is cool to do or not, they’re my sounding board,” he toldPage Sixof his 23-year-old daughter and 20-year-old twin sons. “They told me, ‘The show is awesome, you’ve got to do it.'” In the series, the rock band appear as themselves, and get involved with laundering a little money for main character Marty Byrde, played by Jason Bateman. Cronin said that while the band had never been offered shady deals like that in real life, they may have unwittingly helped a shady business. “We got a great deal on an airplane in the late ’70s, long before we could afford to fly charter,” he said. "It turned out, that on our days off, this REO plane was doing other business that we were only made aware of years later."
This season was awesome and their tie in was hilarious! If you haven't seen it check it out.
