This season of"The Bachelorette" will have a brand new twist: TWO Bachelorettes.
But it was an unplanned twist.
Original Bachelorette CLARE CRAWLEY decided to QUIT the show mid-season, because she fell in love with one of the contestants and decided that she didn't need to keep going.
Rumor has it they started flirting BEFORE production even started. A source says, quote, "[He] found a way to get in touch with her and they began talking.
"By the time filming officially began, they were basically already in love. No one else stood a chance. It just became so obvious from her subsequent few dates that her heart wasn't in it and she just wasn't feeling it. Then she said she wanted out."
There are also rumors that Clare is already ENGAGED to the guy.
(SPOILER ALERT: If you want to know who it is, click here.)
So the producers brought in TAYSHIA ADAMS to replace her. She was on Season 23 of"The Bachelor" with Colton Underwood, and Season 6 of"Bachelor in Paradise".
Tayshia is the second black Bachelorette, after RACHEL LINDSAY on Season 13 in 2017.
The upcoming season will start with Clare and show what happens with her, before bringing in Tayshia as her replacement. Some of the guys Clare eliminated will probably be brought back.
