There are rumblings that Grey’s Anatomymay be nearing the end of its shelf life. Season 17 is running but producer Krista Vernoff says she’s approaching the end of the season with two potential storylines…one as a SEASON finale, the other as a SERIES finale. She added, “It's not where I wish we were." Star Ellen Pompeo also has said she’s working out her future on the show… she’s been Meredith Grey since 2005…but this is the end of her current contract.
I don't know-- I have been watching since the beginning but they have really almost gotten rid of ALL the best characters. When they wrote Alex off I think it was the beginning of the end anyway.
