Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale is back in action, trying to both sell a bunch of furniture at his stores and win a big bet on the Houston Astros. Mack put down $3.35 million on the Astros to win the World Series, getting 10-1 odds. He’s also running a promotion, offering to give all customers who spend $3,000 or more their money back if Houston wins it all. If Mack wins, it would be one of the largest wins in U.S. sports betting history. If he loses, he will sell enough furniture to offset some of his losses.
