Broadway announced today that audience members will need to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask in order to attend shows. The Broadway League's announcement read, "Under the policy, guests will need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine in order to attend a show and must show proof of vaccination at their time of entry into the theatre with their valid ticket." The only exceptions are children under 12 and people who are prevented from taking the vaccine due to a medical condition or religious belief. Instead, those visitors will need to provide negative test results. Additionally, performers and theater staff members will also be required to show proof of vaccination.
