Reports started circulating last November that Jake Gyllenhaal and Doug Liman were planning to make a reimagined take on the classic Patrick Swayze movie “Road House,” and Amazon Prime Video officially announced on Tuesday that the film will go into production in the Dominican Republic later this month. The new take on the plot will feature Gyllenhaal as a former UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer at a rough-and-tumble roadhouse in the Florida Keys.
