As we learned last week at the ACM Awards, Ed Sheeran and Luke Combs are good friends - and they sound great together. Ed has said recently that he is a big fan of country music and wouldn't mind dipping his toe into the country music genre.
While that's all well and good, no matter how big a star you are - if you want to go country, country audiences are going to look for authenticity. Talent only gets you so far - and you need to know how they do it in the country. So to that end, Luke decided to teach his BFF some country lifegroup skills - namely, how to shotgun a beer.
In a clip posted to Ed's Instagram, Luke showed him how it's done - although Sheeran referred to it as "shooting a beer" before being corrected. Any country boy worth his camo knows how to shotgun a beer - and now, thanks to the expert tutelage of Luke Combs - so does Ed Sheeran.
