During his arraignment on Monday, Bryan Kohberger, the man charged with murdering four Idaho college students in November 2022, refused to speak, so the judge entered a guilty plea on his behalf.
When the judge asked the 28-year-old criminology Ph. D to enter his plea, Kohberger’s attorney said his client was “standing silent.”
Following Monday’s arraignment, the prosecution has 60 days to consider whether they will seek the death penalty. The trial is set for October 2nd.
