It seems like they had to take time to let it sink in, but two of Matthew Perry’s “Friends” have said their goodbyes. Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox took to Instagram on Monday to share heartfelt tributes to the late actor.

“Matthew, it is with a heavy hear I say goodbye,” wrote LeBlanc, who called it “an honor” to play Perry’s onscreen roommate Joey from 1994-2004. “The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life.” The co-star added a poignant “you’re finally free” before sharing a joking “And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me.”

Also on Monday, Perry’s onscreen friend-turned-lover Cox (“Monica”) also shared her thoughts on her time with the late funnyman. “I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you everyday,” wrote the actress on Instagram. Calling him “funny and…kind,” Cox revealed her storyline with Perry was supposed to be a “one-night fling” but their chemistry made it an ongoing plotpoint.

… and now, the rest of the cast has followed suit.

“Oh boy this one cut deep,” wrote Jennifer Aniston on Instagram. The breakout star went on to describe years of laughter with the man who “KNEW he loved to make people laugh.” “Making you laugh just made my day,” wrote Perry in a recent text his co-star shared before adding “Rest little brother.”

David Schwimmer, who played the lovable Ross alongside Perry, admired Perry’s skill and “impeccable comic timing and delivery.” The actor also shared the infamous “Miami Vice”-inspired look the two actors shared on the iconic series. “Thank you for the best 10 years a person gets to have,” wrote Lisa Kudrow, also on Instagram. The actress was the final member of the cast to share a message of love, admiring her late colleague for “showing up at work when you weren’t well and then, being completely brilliant.”
